Hey! So Glad You're Here.

To know me is to know I love food. That's how the saying goes right? After countless dm’s and texts asking for recipes of dinners posted I thought what better than a dedicated space for them to live all together.

 

I got my start in the kitchen at a young age mainly in the form of following my mum around and absorbing her every move. Throughout the years she has taken the time to teach me the skills and tricks she has picked up and passed them on to me, now it is my turn to pass them on to all of you.

 

Now a little about my past experience and the ‘credentials’ that allowed me to wake up one day and create a Wix food blog.

 

There was a period in which I wanted to dedicate my life to pastries and began to stage (intern) at a patisserie in downtown Vancouver while finishing my final years of high school. This is an experience I would not trade for anything. Still, it also made me realize that working in a kitchen environment took away my passion for creating food in my personal time at home, something that, above all else I was not willing to lose. This led me to a more traditional university route, a whole semester before I needed to reconsider. I then moved out east to live with a family friend and talented chef that let me tag along the adventure of him opening another restaurant where I learned the ins and outs and picked up quite a few handy kitchen skills. I now live alone in a studio apartment, over half of which is dedicated to my kitchen, food prep, and overflowing pantry.

Food is a massive part of who I am and will be a continuous lifelong journey of learning and sharing. I look forward to creating a community to share it all with.
